Although the roots of this division date back to 1970, when PT Scanchemie was established, the company experienced strong growth over time and this division has now become the largest contributor to TSPC’s consolidated revenue. To date, all of this division’s manufacturing facilities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as imposed by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. Market share is currently approximately 8%. Over-The-Counter drugs (OTC) account for 90% of its pharmaceutical sales while the remainder consists of the ethical drugs (prescription drugs). It is TSPC’s strategy to focus on organic growth through strong marketing campaigns and the introduction of new products under established brand names.
